AFA.2013.0054_Restoration and Rehabilitation of the Tower and Clérigos Church, Porto

The results obtained from the works confirm the existence of simple stratigraphies with little archaeological interest in Poles 1 and 4. On the other hand, Poll 2 revealed the existence of a rocky area, possibly contemporaneous with the construction of the building. Poll 3 was undoubtedly the survey with more archaeological information. Both at the level of structures and materials. In this survey was identified a set of two latrines of contemporary chronology of the construction of the building. There were also recent plumbing pipes in stoneware and PVC. The foundations of the original walls of the building were also detected, although it was not possible to identify the corresponding foundation ditches. Besides the latrines, the space of the survey 3 corresponded to the deposit of the same. Structures UE202 and 309 were dismantled in the context of work because they did not fit the architectural and structural project.
