AFA.2013.0054_Excavation at the Church of the Clergy, Porto

The results obtained from the work at the entrance of the Crypt confirm the existence of a simple stratigraphy with little archaeological interest. Two structures and a layer of landfill were identified. The structures, one was the access staircase to the crypt and the other the closure of the entrance of the same. It was not therefore excavated to the geological layer. On the other hand the excavation did not reveal the existence of archaeological treasure.
