AFA.2011.0040_Soalheiro Bridge About Ribeira do Soalheiro National Road 232 pk36 + 105 - Rehabilitation Project, Gouveia

The Archaeological Work Accomplishment (AAO) carried out in the context of the "Soalheiro Bridge Over the Ribeira do Soalheiro Estrada Nacional 232 pk36 + 105 - Rehabilitation Project", was immediately assumed as a preventive and patrimonial safeguard activity. The importance of this work was revealed in that it allowed to conclude that in the spaces directly intervened by the action of the revolvment of earth does not exist any type of archaeological vestige. Thus, all the processes of excavation were carried out without structures or materials passed by the Human Past were reached. As such, it is verified that the intervention in the ground, potentially intrusive, did not cause any type of patrimonial damage in the slopes upstream and downstream of the PH, nor in the zone of site.
