The Archaeological Monitoring of Works (AAO) carried out in the context of "Rua Alfredo Pereira 213 - 217 and 219 - 223, Penafiel - Alteration of an Establishment of Restoration and Beverages with Bakery and Pastry with Own Manufacturing (Case 288 / LI / 10) / Alteration of a Commercial Establishment (Case 39 / LI / 10) "was immediately assumed to be a preventive and equity safeguard activity. The importance of this work was revealed in that it allowed to conclude that in the spaces directly intervened by the action of the revolvment of earth does not exist any type of archaeological vestige. Thus, all the processes of excavation were carried out without structures or materials passed by the Human Past were reached. As such, it is verified that the intervention in the ground, potentially intrusive, did not cause any type of patrimonial damage.
