AFA.2013.0059_Rua Alfredo Pereira, n. 82 and 84 - Adaptation of a Space for the Inclusion of a Handmade Pastry, Penafiel

The Archaeological Monitoring of Works (AAO) carried out in the context of "Alfredo Pereira Street, n. 82 and 84 - Adapting a Space for the Inclusion of a Handcrafted Pastry", was immediately assumed as a preventive and patrimonial safeguard activity. The importance of this work was revealed in that it allowed to conclude that in the spaces directly intervened by the action of the revolvment of earth does not exist any type of archaeological vestige. Thus, all the processes of excavation were carried out without structures or materials passed by the Human Past were reached. As such, it is verified that the intervention in the ground, potentially intrusive, did not cause any type of patrimonial damage.
