AFA.2013.0060_Subsoil occupation with Electricity Infrastructures in Rua da Assunção, in front of nº 24

The Archaeological Monitoring of Works (AAO) carried out in the context of the "Underground Occupancy with Electricity Infrastructures in Rua da Assunção, in front of No. 24" and "Occupation of Subsoil with Infrastructures in Rua da Assunção, Soon assumed as a preventive and patrimonial safeguard activity. The importance of this work was revealed to the extent that it allowed to conclude that in the spaces directly intervened by the action of the land reclamation, they demonstrated to be in elevation land of quota of the floor of the street during the works of Porto2001, thus not being any vestige archaeological. In terms of archaeological materials the terrras revolvidas during the Archaeological Monitoring proved to be sterile.
