AFA.2014.0068_Alteration and extension of a building located at Rua de Trás, 223-227

The Archaeological Monitoring of Works (AAO) carried out in the context of the "Alteration and expansion of a building located at Rua de Trás, 223-227", was immediately assumed as a preventive and patrimonial safeguard activity. The importance of this work was revealed in that it allowed to conclude that in the spaces directly intervened by the action of the revolvment of earth, there does not exist any type of archaeological vestige. In terms of archaeological materials the terrras revolvidas during the Archaeological Monitoring proved to be sterile.
