AFA.2018.0204_Parque Eólico Marvila II, Parish of São Mamede - Batalha

The park develops at approximate altitudes between 450 and 520m. The installation consists of a set of 6 wind turbines equipped with a three-bladed rotor, rotating under the action of the wind. The azimuth of the rotor shaft is automatically adjusted to the dominant wind direction. All these elements are disposed very far apart from one another, in order to avoid interferences in the operation of the various aerogenerators. The occupation density of the land is therefore very low, and the project, as already mentioned, is intended for the production of electricity in a clean and non-polluting way.
