AFA.2018.0180 Building Rehabilitation in the Great War Combatants Street for the Installation of the Center for Legal Innovation

The project in question concerns the rehabilitation of the building located in Rua dos Combatentes da Guerra Grande for a new installation of the Center for Legal Innovation of Bragança. This building has been the target of interventions, to adapt to the intended function. Some of these interventions deprived areas of the building that we believe are important and that we intend to recover. Taking into account the program required for the Center of Legal Innovation, we chose to value the architectural features relevant to the building. As this building forms part of the urban center of the historical center of Bragança, we propose the maintenance of the existing building volume, maintaining the main façade, the perimeter walls (including existing spans) and rebuilding the roof with a wooden structure.
