The Plan outlined for the Church of Santa Cruz do Castelo considers a set of works of requalification and alteration of the interior spaces of the mortuary capeal, bell tower and corridors of access between these spaces. In the genesis of the proposal is the pretension of opening this space of the belfry to the general public in order to enhance the tourist use of the property, the aspect being more attractive the contemplation of the view from the belfry. As a complement, an exhibition space will be integrated and the interior of the church will be visited. In terms of the need to adapt the space, work is planned to improve accessibility to the belfry and reformulate the space currently occupied by the mortuary chapel, so that it is possible to create a new space with the function of receiving visitors.
