AFA.2018.0163_AGDA - West Addution of Monte da Rocha

The adductor system that constitutes the "Adduction of the Monte da Rocha system - western zone", will begin in the RR of Garvão, and includes: -Action to the settlements of the northern zone, Santa Luzia, Santiago Valley and Colos, which constitute the main consumers of the system; - Adduction to Relics, Ribeira do Salto and Vale de Ferro, zone to the west of the system; - Adduction to Amoreiras Gare, Amoreiras village and S. Martinho das Amoreiras, the southernmost part of the system. Throughout the various stages of project development, a number of alternatives have been studied, such as separate adduction to the north and south subsystems, and consequently several design alternatives. The final solution adopted is to introduce the whole system from the north, creating a central reserve that can later be mobilized to any point of consumption of the system.
