AFA.2018.0153_Building Rehabilitation at Rua Frei Bartolomeu dos Mártires, nº151-157 - Viana do Castelo

The rehabilitation of the building essentially involves the demolition of its interior and occasional physical alterations at the level of façades, namely the alteration in two of the existing doors in the north elevation, opening of window sills in the western elevation and alteration of the design of the south elevation. The intervention also involves redesigning the roof, while maintaining the building's volumetry. At exterior level, it is intended to maintain the elements that make up and characterize the building, namely stonework elements, wooden window frames as well as existing coatings and paint color. At the internal level, the intervention is essentially the new spatial organization, creating for this purpose three apartments, one at the ground floor level and two on the upper floor, according to the program proposed by the applicant.
