AFA.2017.0148_Rehabilitation of Grândola's EB1

The requalification project of the Grândola Basic School 1 (EB1) and Kindergarten 1 (JI1), which includes the rehabilitation of the 4 existing buildings and the construction of a new building for dining and kitchen, and four classrooms, the expansion of the portaria, and the regeneration of the recreational space of the two enclosures and respective access street. Three of the buildings are part of the Centennial Plan, a large-scale school construction project carried out by Estado Novo between 1941 and 1974, of the last century. The fourth building was designed for multipurpose room in the late 90's of last century, having been enlarged at the end of that decade. The need for this work stems from the adaptation of buildings to the current requirements of energy efficiency, thermal comfort and accessibility, as well as the urgency of an intervention to solve pathologies that regular maintenance can no longer respond.
