AFA.2017.0144_Restoration of the Facade, Torres Sineiras, Coverage, Interior and House of the Rector - Church of São João Novo - Porto

The plan outlined for the Church of St. John New considers the preservation and restoration of façades and bell towers (front, back and side), the reinforcement of the roof and treatment of timber. In the interior the project provides maintenance intervention on the walls, ceilings and floors which will essentially consist of cleaning and consolidation of some materials in risk of fall. As far as the walls are concerned, the project provides for manual and wet cleaning (water misting), and the consolidation of the plasters that make up the property. In cases of greater gravity, risk of fall and / or asphalt coatings (Portland cement) will be subject to pruning and subsequent replacement of mortars.
