AFA.2017.0118_EN209 KM 26 + 000 - ROTUNDA IN LORDELO, PAREDES

The present study of systematic prospecting and bibliographical survey carried out as part of the project of "ER209, KM 26 - Roundabout to KM 26 in Lordelo" had as its objective the identification of archaeological remains and ethnographic and architectural patrimony that could be affected by Execution of the work. The research carried out allowed us to understand the occupational dynamics of the region and to obtain the maximum information regarding the vestiges of human paleocupation in the area. Through the research it was also possible to understand the main historical and cultural characteristics of the area of ​​implantation of the project and its surroundings. It is thus verified that the area under study belongs to a municipality that had a permanent occupation and of great importance in the historical context of the north coast of Portugal. Following this study, no patrimonial occurrences were identified
