AFA.2016.0104_Rehabilitation of Existing Spaces in the Old Convent of Graça, Lisbon

It should be remembered that the Church / Convent of Grace is a set of extraordinary value in patrimonial, cultural and technical level and that all the interventions and solutions adopted will always be conceived keeping in mind the objective of the conservation of the patrimony and the preservation of its characteristics . The church is located on a hill in Lisbon, next to the viewpoint of Graça. The architectural complex is delimited by means of circulation to the North, South and East and by the slope, with a steep slope, to the West. The Church / Convent was founded by the Hermits of St. Augustine in 1271. After the earthquake of 1755, it was rebuilt for the style it currently presents. It was classified as a National Monument in 1910.
