Évora is one of the most important and monumental urban centers of the country, so any intervention within its Historical Center should be well equated so as not to cause major impacts to the patrimonial context of the city. In archeological terms, we are in the presence of two distinct situations. If on the one hand the urban nucleus of a city with 2 millennia will always have traces that are identified in almost all the interventions carried out. On the other hand, we are in an area where there were several monasteries, such as S. Domingos, Sta. Helena do Monte Calvário and the former Convent of Sta. Clara, so it is very easy to detect osteological traces.
