AFA.2011.0038_Bridge Over the Ribeiro de Castelo Ventoso - ER2 to Km586 + 100 / Pontão On the Ravine of the Taurus Valley - EN121 to Km050 + 050 Project of Rehabilitation / Replacement of the Artwork

Ponte do Castelo Ventoso consists of three adobe brick masonry arches supported by two pillars located on the Ribeiro do Castelo Ventoso bed, and two meetings located on the banks, these elements also consisting of masonry and mortar stone with variable size. Following this Study, four (4) Archaeological Occurrences were identified. In the area of ​​indirect allocation of the project on the bridge over the Ribeiro do Castelo Ventoso ER 2 to km586 + 100, the following patrimonial occurrences were identified: OP1 (Ventoso Castle 1), OP2 (Castelo Ventoso 2) and OP3 (Castelo Ventoso 3). The OP4 (Ferreira do Alentejo substation) was also identified in the pontoon on the Touro Vale Rink EN 121 at km050 + 050, also in the indirect area of ​​the project.
